Our Terroir
Tarija: altitude, intensity and balance
Our vineyards are located in Tarija, southern Bolivia, at 1900 meters above sea level — one of the highest wine-growing regions in the world. The valley was, millions of years ago, a silent lake; Its diatom sediments keep a mineral memory that no winemaker can invent.
The combination of extreme factors defines our terroir:
– High UV radiation, which promotes complete ripening and a unique concentration of polyphenols.
– Wide temperature range, which preserves freshness and acidity with unparalleled precision.
– Dry climate, which allows for more conscious and healthy viticulture.
