Death does not warn — it invites, it whispers "memento mori": to live in eternal return, in such a way that if everything repeated infinitely, you would change nothing.
Dark fruits • Firm tannins • Vanilla • Cedar
A sincere, vibrant high-altitude Tannat. Aged in 500-liter French oak barrels, its extraordinary fruit-forward character — led by dark berries — integrates delicately with soft expressions of vanilla, clove, and pink pepper. Balanced, juicy, and long on the palate, Memento Mori is ready to enjoy now, with a cellaring potential of 10 years.
Memento Mori means "remember that you will die." Its origin traces back to the Roman practice of reminding victorious generals, at the height of their celebrations, that they were mortal. Not to depress them, but to clarify, inspire, and maintain humility. Marcus Aurelius wrote of it in his Meditations: if life is finite, every moment carries sacred weight. Seneca urged his students to go to sleep reminding themselves they might not wake the next day — not as a threat, but as an invitation to live without postponement.
