Alaya is the borderless horizon, the current that connects memories and stars. Root and flight, silence and song, the dwelling where everything begins and everything returns.

Fresh red fruits • Violets • Juicy, lively body

FULL DESCRIPTION

Alaya is a wine that feels intimate and invites you to simply enjoy. Crafted to highlight the fruit-forward character of Syrah and Tannat, its expression begins with high-altitude grapes from El Portillo. Both varieties are co-fermented using carbonic maceration — a process that triggers intracellular fermentation and draws out the juiciest, most vibrant qualities of each grape, creating a union that feels spontaneous and natural on both nose and palate.

WINE STORY

Alaya-vijñana is the eighth and deepest level of consciousness in the Yogacara school of Buddhism. Translated from Sanskrit as "storehouse consciousness," it describes a profound, silent space that sustains all thoughts, emotions and experiences — the uninterrupted current underlying all of life. Alaya as a wine connects directly to Tellus, the earth goddess. Because Tellus does not only nourish the soil: she is that universal, eternal force connecting everything that lives.
